We’re Simon and Samantha – a husband-and-wife team with a genuine passion for helping local businesses thrive.

Simon was born in Brixham in 1973 and, after many years away, returned home in 2025 with Samantha, who made the move from Worcestershire to begin a new chapter together. Inspired by the incredible people, businesses and communities that make South Devon so special, we founded Devon Publishing Services with one simple mission: to showcase the very best of local businesses through professional, affordable digital media.

Our journey began with the creation of The Brixham Beacon, a community publication designed to celebrate everything happening across Brixham, Fishcombe (“Fish Town”), Cowtown, Galmpton and Churston. We wanted to shine a light on local news, events, inspiring people and independent businesses, while creating something the community could genuinely enjoy reading.

As the Beacon grew, we discovered something else. Many fantastic local businesses were providing exceptional products and services, but their online presence simply didn’t reflect the quality of what they offered. Some had outdated websites, others had no website at all, and many struggled to tell their story in a way that attracted new customers.

That’s where Devon Publishing Services was born.

Today, we help businesses create clean, modern, eye-catching websites and digital media that are simple to use, beautifully designed and built with one goal in mind – helping your business stand out.

We’re proud to have worked with businesses both here in South Devon and in Worcestershire, creating websites and promotional material for companies including Broadway Man & Van, TC Fireplaces, Brixham Carpets, and several other independent businesses.
